My commitment is to offer you a warm and caring space, based on empathetic listening and respect, where you can freely and safely explore your experience, your thoughts, your feelings. It is important for me to co-construct with you a supportive, authentic, non-judgmental relational climate, in order to accompany you in your reflective journey, by adapting to your rhythm, your strengths and your uniqueness.

I favor an integrative approach with a principally humanist (person-centered and experiential) orientation, which also includes analytic, systemic, cognitive and behavioral therapies in order to meet your request in the most effective way possible. My approach is above all humanist ; I deeply believe in the potential of each person to realize themselves according to their unique way of being in the world and their true inspiration.

I provide consultations for adults and adolescents, in English and French, for short-term or longer duration, depending on your wishes and your means. I support people facing a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, relational conflicts, difficulties related to parenthood or to life transition, eating disorders, professional or parental burnout, identity or existential questions, feelings of loneliness, anger, emptiness, failure.

Issues related to self-development, individuation, emancipation (e.g. following trauma), parenting and parent-child relationship, relationship to the body, are of special interest to me. I am particularly sensitive to experiences of neglect, control, dependence, domination, violence in all its forms (psychological, physical, sexual), parentification (role confusion in the parent-child relationship), the feeling of not really living one's life, and persistent suffering following a trauma.

My goal is to help you put into words your difficulties, your sufferings and your questions, identify and understand your deep needs and aspirations, discover your resources, so that you can find answers that are right for you, perhaps weave new meanings, open yourself to new perspectives, towards better understanding of yourself and greater well-being. If this speaks to you, special attention can also be paid to body sensations (e.g., breathing exercises).

I have always been passionate about the power of encounter and of words. The "you" brings the "I" into existence, said Albert Jacquard, and in the relationship to oneself as well, the way we talk about ourselves and to ourselves seems to orient our vision and our evolution. Through my life’s journey, including parenthood and a first career as a lawyer, I came to realize that I am truly driven by a desire to understand our complexity, our struggles, our ability to develop throughout our lives. Also, I aspire to accompany others in their singular journey. Therefore, I have built a second professional life as a psychologist, nourished by all my experiences so far which have made me the therapist I am today.

Note

I consult at the WWASO medical center in Louvain-la-Neuve on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and at the TRISKEL center in Blanmont (1450) on Tuesdays.

Session duration : 50 minutes. Cost : 60€. Refund according to your mutuelle.
